How do we pay tuition?
For full-time, night, and summer school, you can pay by e-transfer to accounts@vaughancollege.ca, by cheque payable to Vaughan College Inc., or in cash. Online courses are paid online when you check out. International families can also pay through PayMyTuition.
When is tuition due?
For full-time students, a full year’s tuition is due by the first week of September, and a single semester’s by the first day of that semester. If you’d rather pay over time, we offer payment plans, with the first payment made when you register. Night, summer, and part-time course fees are paid when you enrol. International families pay on their own schedule, set out on our Pay Tuition page.
Can we pay in installments?
Yes. We arrange a payment plan with each family, and each installment carries a $10 fee. Mention it when you apply, or call us at 905-265-9229.
Do part-time and online students pay an application fee?
No. The application fee applies only to new full-time students, and it’s billed later in the admissions process. Night school, summer school, and online courses have no application fee.
Do international students pay different fees?
For full-time study, yes: tuition is $17,000 a year ($8,750 a semester) and the application fee is $350, billed later in the admissions process. Night school, summer school, and online courses cost the same for every student.
Why do online courses cost less than night school?
Night and summer courses are taught live by a teacher, in class or virtually, on a set schedule. Online courses are self-study: your child works through the course in our online classroom with a teacher assigned, and can add tutoring at $50 an hour.
What is your refund policy?
Full-time tuition, the application fee, and the incidental fee are non-refundable, including if you withdraw before classes begin. For night, summer, and part-time courses, a refund may be considered if you withdraw in writing before the course starts. Online courses are non-refundable, but you can switch to another course for free within seven days if the student hasn’t started any coursework. International families have their own terms.
