Support Vaughan College
Help keep the classroom small.
Vaughan College is a small school by design. Gifts from families, alumni, and friends of the school protect that scale, and the personal attention that comes with it.

Why It Matters
The case for giving.
Vaughan College is a private school, and tuition pays for the ordinary work of the day, teachers, classrooms, the lights and the heat. What tuition does not always reach is the rest: the scholarship that lets a promising student stay enrolled, the second laptop in the library, the new microscope in the lab, the after-school programs that no line item ever quite covers.
Gifts to the school close that gap. They keep classes small as enrolment grows, and they open the door to families who could not otherwise afford a private education for a child who would do well in one. They let us say yes a little more often.
A gift here is not a building campaign. It is a quiet, practical investment in the next student who walks through the door.

Where Gifts Go
Where your gift goes.
Every gift, of any size, supports one or more of the following. A single gift travels further here than it would at a much larger institution.
- Annual scholarship award
- $1,000–$7,000
- Minimum gift
- Any size
Scholarships for promising students
Awarded each year to students who have shown clear academic promise but for whom full tuition would be a real strain. The most direct way to pass an excellent education on to a student who would otherwise miss it.Financial aid for families
Some families don’t need a full scholarship, but a few months’ breathing room or a payment plan that bends to a hard year. Donor support funds those quieter, individualized arrangements. The classroom and library
The lab equipment replaced before it breaks, the library acquisitions the regular budget doesn’t stretch to, the classroom technology that keeps lessons current.Special programs and initiatives
Guest lectures, scholarship exam days, music and arts programming, and the small bursaries that send a student to a competition or conference: the year’s quiet enrichments.
Make a Gift
Ways to give.
One-time gifts, recurring monthly support, and gifts in honour or memory of a teacher or alumnus are all welcome. Every donor receives a personal acknowledgement from the school.

Recognition & Impact
How your gift is put to work.
We try to keep the picture small and clear. Most gifts go to the scholarship fund, where they are awarded annually in the $1,000 to $7,000 range to students whose families could not otherwise meet tuition. Smaller balances support the classroom and library investments described above, and a portion is held in reserve for the kind of individual student support that does not fit a budget line.
Donors who wish to be acknowledged are recognized in the school’s annual report and at year-end celebrations, and many choose to give anonymously instead. Whichever you prefer, you will hear from us personally about the difference your gift made in the year you gave it.
